Channing Tatum Just Spoiled the Ending of 'Dog' for a Good Reason

Channing Tatum has spoiled the ending of his new movie Dog, over a week before the film even hits theaters. There’s a good reason though!

The 41-year-old actor talked about his new film while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

Jimmy brought up how dog movies often have tragic endings. He said, “You never know with a dog movie how it’s going to go, most of the time it goes the wrong way.”

Channing replied, “I think Marley & Me scarred everyone. Every single person that I’ve told I made a dog movie, they’re like, ‘I am not going to see it unless you tell me if the dog lives.’ I’m like, ‘But don’t you want to not know the ending of the movie?’”

To make sure people aren’t swayed from seeing the movie because of a potentially scarring experience, Channing spoiled the ending.

“It’s a good ending, so everyone knows,” Channing said. Jimmy jokingly responded, “You might be the first guest who’s ever come out and told the ending of his movie.”

Channing recently opened up about why he almost quit acting.
