Owen Wilson Reveals His Mom Got Married At The Age of 80: 'You Can Find Love At Any Age'

Owen Wilson stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week to promote his brand new movie, Marry Me.

The 53-year-old actor stars opposite Jennifer Lopez in the new romantic comedy, and Owen admits that he’s a hopeless romantic himself.

“My mother recently married a very nice person at the age of 80,” Owen shared on the program. “It’s a very romantic story and the idea that you can find love at any age.”

He added, “I think that’s a very good story.”

Marry Me centers on pop superstar Kat Valdez, who is about to get married before an audience of her loyal fans. But just moments before, learns that her fiance had been cheating on her. In a moment of inspired insanity, Kat locks eyes with a total stranger in the crowd and marries him on the spot.
