Mary J. Blige Explains Why She's Doing the Super Bowl for Free

Mary J. Blige is opening up about the amount of money she will be paid for performing at the 2022 Super Bowl… which is zero dollars.

The Good Morning Gorgeous singer is one of five performers hitting the stage during the Super Bowl Halftime Show this year alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg.

In a new interview ahead of the big show, Mary explained why she agreed to perform for free.

“Listen, you’re gonna be paid for the rest of your life off of this,” Mary told The Cruz Show. “People are gonna be knocking at your doors.”

“They don’t have to pay me, but if they was paying it would be a lot of money,” she added. “This is the the opportunity of a lifetime.”
