OlderNBC Slammed for Showing Jhene Aiko's Name Underneath Mickey Guyton at Super Bowl 2022
NBC is already facing some heat for an error that happened during the 2022 Super Bowl and the game hasn’t even started yet.
It’s all because of a labeling error that happened ahead of Mickey Guyton and Jhene Aiko‘s performances at the pre-show on Sunday (February 13) at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
When they were introducing Jhene‘s performance of “America the Beautiful,” they instead panned to Mickey and had Jhene‘s name labeled underneath her.
“Not the NFL showing Mickey Guyton and saying itβs Jhene Aiko ππ,” one person tweeted. Another said, “Jhene Aiko and Mickey Guyton don’t look alike. Tighten up NBC. All black folks don’t look alike.”
