NFL Responds to Eminem Kneeling During Super Bowl Halftime Show

Eminem kneeled at the end of his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, seemingly in support of Colin Kaepernick, and now the NFL is responding to the moment.
There has been speculation that the NFL asked Eminem not to kneel, but that he decided to do so anyways. A rep for the league is basically shooting that down.

“We watched all elements of the show during multiple rehearsals this week and were aware that Eminem was going to do that,” league spokesman Brian McCarthy said in a statement to ESPN.
Colin took a knee during the National Anthem back in 2016 as a form of protest against police brutality and social injustice. He hasn’t played since that year.
