'White Lotus' Star Murray Bartlett Reveals Why He Decided To Grow A Mustache

Murray Bartlett is sharing all the secrets of his mustache on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The White Lotus star opened up about the reason he grew out his facial hair in the first place, and how it helped him land a lot of jobs.

When asked about his mustache, Murray explained that it all started when he and his partner were in Egypt some years ago.

“My partner was Egyptian and he had some work there,” Murray started. “I always felt like that foreigner wherever I went.”

He went on, “A lot of men have mustaches, so I decided to grow a full mustache, and then it turned out that I auditioned for a ton of shows towards the end of our time there, and booked a lot of shows.”

“I think it was because of my mustache, so that sort of began the Tom Selleck stage of my life.”

Murray was just recently cast in Hulu’s upcoming Chippendales murder limited series.
