Wendy Williams is looking happy and healthy in a brand new video.

On Wednesday (February 16), the 57-year-old daytime talk show host shared a rare video where she opens about how she’s doing amid her absence from her talk show and reports that she’s “incapacitated.”

“It’s just after 8 o’clock in the morning and I’m doing OK, you know?” Wendy says in a video shared on Instagram, apparently recorded by her son Kevin Hunter Jr, as she goes for a walk on the beach in Miami.

“It’s very peaceful here,” Wendy added.

Wendy goes on to share her plans for the day, saying she plans on going to the gym, and then making a few phone calls to family, friends, and business partners.

Kevin then asks Wendy, “What do you have to say to those people who think you’re up to whatever it is?”

“Excuse me, I am going back stronger. At 56 years old, there are things that happen to people,” Wendy shared, though she misspoke when she said she was “56.”

“I would say things usually start about 40 and they go up from there, you know, so you’ve got to eat the right food,” Wendy continued, adding, “I wanna be all I can be and then get back to New York and get on down with The Wendy Williams Show.”

Ahead of the season premiere of The Wendy Williams Show back in September 2021, it was revealed that Wendy would be taking time off as she was “still dealing” with medical issues.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Wendy would not be returning to the show for the rest of the season, and this star had been named the permanent guest host.

Wendy‘s bank then claimed that they believed that she was “incapacitated” and in need of a guardianship while also freezing all of her accounts. Wendy‘s lawyer then released a statement on her behalf, denying “all allegations about her mental state and well-being.”
