'Dark' Actor Louis Hofmann Walks Carpet at Berlin Film Festival for His New Movie 'The Forger'

If you’ve seen the hit Netflix series Dark, then you definitely are a Louis Hofmann fan. If you haven’t, it’s time to catch up!

The 24-year-old German actor is now starring in the new movie The Forger and he walked the red carpet for the film’s Berlin Film Festival premiere on Sunday (February 13) in Berlin, Germany.

The Forger follows a 21-year-old Jewish man living in Berlin in the 1940s who creates a new identity for himself as a marine officer and uses his forging talents to create fake IDs that help save the lives of many others.

Louis is best known for playing Jonas Kahnwald in the Netflix series Dark, which ended after three seasons back in 2020.

Next up for Louis are two highly anticipated American projects – Masters of the Air, the Apple TV+ limited series that is a sequel to Band of Brothers, and All the Light We Cannot See, a Netflix limited series based on the acclaimed novel.
