Inventing Anna is TV creator Shonda Rhimes‘ second series as part of her Netflix deal and she hired a lot of her friends for the new show.

Shondaland fans who watch Inventing Anna will notice a lot of familiar faces throughout the series and we counted nine actors who have appeared in Shonda‘s previous shows.

For those who don’t know, Shonda is the creator and/or executive producer of popular shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, For The People, and Station 19. Most recently, Shondaland brought Bridgerton to Netflix as their first show with the streamer.
