Turns out that Caitlin McKee, Joey Miller, Kara Williams, and Jason Beaumont, didn’t make it to the final cut of the show – but that didn’t mean they didn’t find love.
In fact, Caitlin and Joey, and Kara and Jason, actually left their pods engaged to each other!
“What you didn’t see is that I also found love in the pods and left the show with a fiancé,” Caitlin revealed on her Instagram. “@millerj5001 and I had an amazing summer and fall with the opportunity to travel, meet each other’s families, and build a genuine relationship without the cameras and crew.”
While the couple just recently split, they “are choosing to remain friends and he will always hold a special place in my heart.”
Kara and Jason also found love in the pods, and like Caitlin and Joey, also split up recently, as well.
“There has been a lot of people asking me why I had no luck in the pods… SURPRISE! kara_williams & I walked out of the pods an engaged couple as well!” he told followers on Instagram. “Kara, has been one of the most charismatic, loving, & supportive people I’ve ever met, she is hands down one of the strongest women I’ve ever been around.”
He added that just because they split up, “that will never take away the feelings & love I had for her throughout this process.”
Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen opened up about why their love stories weren’t shown in the new season – there just wasn’t enough time.
“You only have so many crews and so much budget and so much time,” he said. “It would be amazing to follow everybody, but you just have to decide what feels like a good group to follow.”
The first season also cut a few love stories from airtime, too.
If you missed it, here’s what we know about season three of the series.
