Andrew Garfield Jokes He'll Do This Reality Show If He Wins An Oscar for 'tick, tick...BOOM!'

Andrew Garfield suits up for a special screening and conversation of tick, tick…Boom held at 92nd Street Y on Tuesday night (February 22) in New York City.

The 38-year-old actor was recently nominated for his second Oscar for the film, in which he portrays playwright Jonathan Larson.

“It’s really hard to actually put into words, truthfully, because ultimately I think in quiet moments or moments of reflection or moments of fear, I remember that all I really need in my life is to make theater for an audience of 10 and I’d be happy — that’s the truth,” Andrew said about the nomination just a few weeks ago.

In another recent interview, Andrew joked about what he’d do if he won the honor.

During his most recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Andrew said that “it’s hard to confess this, but I would love to do ‘Strictly.’”

He was referring to Strictly Come Dancing, the British counterpart to USA’s Dancing With the Stars.

Andrew added that appearing on the dance show is “on the bucket list” for him and said that “if I win the Oscar, then I’ll come and do it. How’s that?”
