Cheryl Burke & Matthew Lawrence Have Split & Filed For Divorce After Three Years of Marriage

It’s over for Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence.

The 37-year-old Dancing with the Stars pro dancer and Matt, best known from Boy Meets World, have split up after three years of marriage.

People reports that Cheryl filed for divorce from Matt, 42, just last week at a Los Angeles courthouse.

Cheryl listed the couple’s date of separation is listed as January 7 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The papers also indicate that the pair have a prenuptial agreement in place.

The couple first met in 2006 when Matt‘s older brother, Joey Lawrence, had been a contestant on DWTS. They started dating then, but split up just a year later.

Cheryl and Matt rekindled their romance in 2017 before getting married in 2019.

Just recently, Cheryl had opened up about Matt‘s reptile collection and also revealed how her relationship with him is different than any others she had.
