'The Blacklist' Renewed for 10th Season on NBC

The Blacklist has been renewed for another season!

James Spader – who stars on the series – announced that the espionage drama has been picked up for a 10th season on NBC.

James made the exciting announcement during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (February 22) ahead of the show’s return after a month-long hiatus.

The show’s renewal will take it past the 200-episode mark early in the 2022-23 season.

The Blacklist – which premiered in 2013 – has weathered the departures of James‘ co-lead, Megan Boone, after eight seasons back in June 2021 and series creator and co-showrunner Jon Bokenkamp ahead of production on the current season.

New episodes of The Blacklist season nine will resume on Friday, February 25 at 8pm ET on NBC.
