Shanna Moakler Speaks Out After Boyfriend Matthew Rondeau's Arrest for Domestic Violence

Shanna Moakler is speaking out.

On Thursday (February 24), it was reported that the 46-year-old Celebrity Big Brother star’s boyfriend Matthew Rondeau was arrested for felony domestic violence after they got into an argument at home.

The arrest came shortly after Matthew, 28, posted a video on Instagram where he was visibly angry, accused Shanna of cheating, and said that they were over as a couple.

Hours after news of the arrest broke, Shanna‘s manager shared a statement on how she’s doing.

“Thank you to everyone calling with concern about Shanna,” Shanna‘s manager, David Weintraub, shared with Page Six. “She is OK and survived this traumatic experience.

Her manager added that Shanna is “especially” thankful to “all of her fans who saw this horrible incident unfold on social media.”

“Thankfully the police saved her from harms way and she is doing fine,” her manager added. “At the moment she asks that she is giver her space to adjust to life after this trauma.”

Shanna‘s manager also said that because of fans “reaching out to Shanna,” Matthew’s video was “flagged immediately and police were called.”

“Social media saved her life,” Shanna‘s manager concluded.

Shanna‘s daughter Alabama Barker – whom she shares with ex-husband Travis Barker – also gave fans an update on how her mother is doing after the situation.

“Just texted my mom! I’m not sure what happened on her live,” Alabama, 16, wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’m in contact with her and she’s okay.”

Alabama also addressed Matthew, saying, “That man needs serious help.”

We are glad to hear Shanna is doing OK after the situation.
