Following the attack on Ukraine from Russia, sibling pop trio AJR have decided to cancel their upcoming tour dates in the country.
Adam, Jack, and Ryan made the announcement to their fans on social media on Friday (February 25).
“We are sad to announce that we will be cancelling our upcoming show in Russia,” AJR wrote on Twitter. “Thank you to our Russian fans who oppose their country’s unprovoked and criminal behavior. Our hearts are with the people of Ukraine.”
The trio added, “At this point, the best thing you can do is share ACCURATE info.”
AJR‘s most successful songs include “I’m Ready”, “Sober Up”, “Burn the House Down”, “Way Less Sad”, “100 Bad Days”, “Weak”, and “Bang!”
They were scheduled to perform in Moscow on October 22 for their The OK Orchestra Tour.
Many other musicians also have dates in Russia set for later this year, including Khalid, OneRepublic, Yungblud, OneRepublic and more. However, none have made a move to cancel their shows.
