Get to Know 'A Madea Homecoming' Star Geneva Maccarone with These 10 Fun Facts (Exclusive)

A Madea Homecoming was just released on Netflix and Geneva Maccarone is one of the breakout stars of the film!

Geneva plays the role of Sylvia, Laura’s best friend, in the new movie. You might recognize her from appearances in all of the Chicago One shows – Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. Next up for her is the TV series Complex.

1. I was a professional cheerleader in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
2. I’m Cape Verdean and Italian.
3. I enjoy working out and practicing yoga.
4. I’m obsessed with 80’s movies/music.
