Charlie Cox Snuck Into A Movie Theater To See Fans Reactions to His 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Cameo & This Was His Reaction

Charlie Cox is opening up about witnessing the reaction to his cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home – and it wasn’t what he was expecting at all.

If you don’t know, the 39-year-old actor returned as Daredevil in a cameo appearance in the box office hit and many fans online have celebrated his return, hoping it will turn into something more.

In a recent interview, Charlie revealed that he slipped into a local theater himself to see the reactions first hand, and was kind of disappointed with it.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com, Charlie said that he snuck into a crowded theater to experience fans watching his cameo, but instead of crowds cheering, it was something entirely different.

“It’s funny, I got so many text messages and so many calls about that moment in the cinema,” he said. “My nephew sent me a recording of everyone cheering. So, I snuck into a movie theater near where I live and literally stood in the corridor… and, sadly, my experience was it was dead f***ing quiet!”

Charlie added that he might have “have been in one of the only movie theatres in America that was dead silent, and it was packed, so it was a real anti-climax.”

“I was so disappointed,” he shared in another interview with Metro.co.uk. “My wife was with me and she was recording me because it’d be fun to have that moment of everyone cheering, and then…tumbleweed!”
