After scanning the crowd for Michael, Salma said, “Are you kidding me? I have stage fright. Come on, Michael. Come on, Michael!”
Eventually, Michael ran through the crowd and jumped on stage without using the stairs.
Michael said, “Thank you very much! Sorry. Quick trip to the men’s room. It’s packed by the way.”
During his speech, Michael emotionally dedicated the award to his late nephew, who he lost to drugs. The series follows the opioid crisis.
