'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' & 'Law & Order: SVU' Actor Ned Eisenberg Passes Away After Private Cancer Battle

Ned Eisenberg has sadly passed away at 65, following a private cancer battle.

The actor, who is best known for his roles on Law & Order: SVU and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, died over the weekend in New York at his home.

Ned was battling two forms of cancer ahead of his death: cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma.

His wife, Patricia, shared a statement with People, about his passing.

“As Ned would say, he was attacked by two very rare assassins — cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma,” she shared. “Over the course of two years, he bravely fought the cancers in private while continuing to work in show business to ensure that his medical coverage paid for himself and his family.”

Ned was also known for his roles on Mare of Easttown, Little Voice, The Good Wife, Person of Interest, 30 Rock and White Collar.
