Piper Perabo Teases A Romance Between Summer & John in 'Yellowstone' Season Four

Piper Perabo is dropping hints about a possible romance with Kevin Costner on Yellowstone.

During the SAG Awards over the weekend, the 45-year-old actress teased that fans can expect something to happen between their characters in the future season.

Speaking with EW on the silver carpet, Piper seemingly confirmed that romance between her animal rights activist character Summer Higgins and Kevin‘s John Dutton is going to happen.

“The love story is kicking into gear on Yellowstone. I know a lot of people watch it for the cowboys and the ranch, but I watch it for the love story,” she shared.

Piper added that they’re “turning up the heat. It’s been a hard couple of years, let’s turn up the heat for a minute.”

When their characters first met, he actually got her thrown into jail following a protest outside Kayce Dutton’s (Luke Grimes) livestock office that turned violent. However, he did bail her out, too.

Yellowstone‘s season four will debut on March 28 on Peacock.
