Rosalia Shares the Awkward Texting Mix-Up She Had with Harry Styles

Rosalia is looking back at a texting mix-up she had with Harry Styles!

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (March 10), the “Saoko” singer shared that her habit of frequently changing her phone number inadvertently led to a hilarious exchange between Harry and a stranger who had inherited her old number.

“I changed it so often, because I didn’t answer messages — and then I realized I wanted to focus, be in the studio, work,” she explained, calling the move a “fresh start.”

But she didn’t realize that those numbers often get recycled. “I didn’t know that that happened. I thought that when you use a phone number, then that phone number disappears or something,” Rosalia said. “My friends, who thought that they were texting me, were texting random people.”

Harry found himself in that exact situation, with the Spanish singer showing some receipts of the conversation he had.

“He sent me this screenshot, OK, in the DMs…saying, ‘Your texts are confusing,’” she said, showing Jimmy her phone. The person Harry was texting with called him “my darling” before fully shutting down the conversation. Rosalia added, “Imagine being that person, now looking at the Jimmy Fallon show, and saying, ‘I said don’t bother me anymore to Harry Styles!’”
