Kristen Stewart Almost Had A Role in 'Scream 4' & You Won't Believe The Role She Was Set To Play

Kristen Stewart makes a casual arrival ahead of her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Los Angeles on Tuesday (March 15).

The 31-year-old actress waved to fans on her way into the theater, with her hair in a double ponytail, as she prepared to chat about her recent Oscar nomination for Spencer.

In another recent interview, Kristen opened up about the nomination and also about an iconic role she turned down.

Speaking to Slant, Kristen revealed that she was actually offered a role in Scream 4.

“It’s the Drew [Barrymore] character that gets killed in the beginning,” she revealed. “They created a whole sequence where a lot of people got killed to emulate the Drew thing.”

Kristen recalled that “it was just going to be one person, and I was like, ‘I can’t do a Drew. I can’t touch that.’”

She also revealed that if offered another chance, she’d “read the script. I love Neve Campbell so much. She was very nice to me, and it was very satisfying that she’s a very nice person. I love that movie. I’ve watched it recently, as an adult though. It’s so gnarly. I love the movie because it loves movies.”
