Lauren Graham Hasn't Guest Starred on 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' For One Specific Reason

A lot of Gilmore Girls alums have popped up over the course of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, however, Lauren Graham is not one of them.

Amy Sherman-Palladino, who created both series, is revealing why Lauren hasn’t been on the show yet.

Chatting with US Weekly, Amy revealed that it actually has to be the right role for Lauren to come on the show.

“I’d love Lauren to be on, but it just needs to be the right part,” Amy said.

Dan Palladino, her husband and co-showrunner, added, “We want them to have the right parts if they do it, so it’s not just a cameo. We want it to mean something.”

“So we found a really good thing for Milo. You know, we’re hoping to have a couple others pop up.”

In addition to Milo Ventimiglia guest starring on the show this season, Kelly Bishop also had a recurring part, too, as well as Chris Eigeman.

Alex Borstein, who stars as Susie on the show, played two characters in Gilmore Girls: a harpist named Drella, as well as Miss Celine.
