Rachel Zegler Thanks 'West Side Story' Co-Star & Boyfriend Josh Andres Rivera in NBR Awards Speech

Rachel Zegler is sharing some very sweet words for her boyfriend and West Side Story co-star, Josh Andres Rivera.

The 20-year-old star was awarded Best Actress by the National Board of Review, but was unable to attend the 2022 awards ceremony due to her filming schedule, as she is currently in London shooting Snow White.

She shared her speech on social media after the ceremony.

“I wish to extend my thanks to the love of my life, who I was blessed enough to meet on the set of this film many moons ago. Thank you for holding my hand in my dreams and in my reality. I love doing life with you. Thanks for making me laugh,” she said of Josh in the speech.

For those who don’t know, Josh plays the role of Chino in the movie, in which she plays Maria. He is set up with Maria at the beginning of the movie and they go to the school dance together, but that’s where she ends up meeting Tony.

She also thanked Ilda Mason for reading the speech at the event, and said: “You are, after all, my favorite date to events. (Sorry to my boyfriend.)”

Rachel and Josh had been rumored to be dating for the past year and she has frequently inferred that they’re a couple, but it was never confirmed until now. Rachel Zegler confirmed that she was dating her West Side Story co-star on Valentine’s Day. Find out what she posted!
