Betty Gilpin To Lead Peacock Drama Series 'Mrs. Davis'

Betty Gilpin is headed back to streaming on Peacock.

The 35-year-old former Glow actress will star in Mrs. Davis, the new drama show from writers Damon Lindelof and Tara Hernandez, according to THR.

The outlet reports that series’ details are still under lock and key, however, it is being billed as an “epic battle of biblical and binary proportions.”

Betty is set to play a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful artificially intelligence in the show.

Additionally, director Owen Harris will exec produce and helm multiple episodes including the pilot.

Mrs. Davis was previously ordered straight to series in May 2021 and landed at NBCUniversal’s Peacock following a multiple-outlet bidding war. Tara will serve as the showrunner on the series.
