Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins Dies at 50

Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for the Foo Fighters, has sadly passed away.

The band announced the heartbreaking news on their social accounts. Taylor was just 50, and no cause of death was revealed.

According to Deadline, he was reportedly found deceased in a hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, where the band had been due to play at a festival.

“The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” the statement read. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever.”

The statement went on, saying, “Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”
