'Euphoria' Star Maude Apatow Clarifies the Meaning Of Her Resurfaced Tweets Amid Backlash
Maude Apatow is explaining what she meant in one of her old tweets.
On Monday (March 28), the Euphoria actress’s father Judd Apatow faced backlash for several tweets he wrote about the confrontation between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
One of Maude‘s old tweets resurfaced after Judd deleted his comments, and now she’s clarifying what she meant.

“I’m at that age where everything you say is either incredibly racist or extremely inappropriate,” she wrote in 2011. She was thirteen years old at the time.
Some users interpreted Maude‘s tweet as her admitting that she said racist or insensitive things at one point. One fan wrote to her, “@maudeapatow pls address the tweet sweetie so they don’t keep dragging you.”
The actress replied, “I meant that everyone at my age was terrible!!!!”
