Sharon Stone to Play Brand New Villain (With a Familiar Last Name) in DC's 'Blue Beetle'

Sharon Stone is joining the superhero universe…as a DC villain!

The legendary actress has reportedly signed on for a role in DC’s Blue Beetle movie.

Sharon will be portraying a brand new character named Victoria Kord, The Wrap reports. If you’re familiar with the comics, the last name “Kord” suggests that Kord Industries will play a big role in the film. In the comics, Kord Industries was run by Ted Kord, who was at one point also Blue Beetle.

Cobra Kai‘s Xolo Maridueña will be playing Jaime Reyes (aka Blue Beetle). Raoul Max Trujillo will play Carapax the Indestructible Man.

The film is currently slated to be released on August 18, 2023. Stay tuned as we learn more!
