Jimmy Fallon & Jimmy Kimmel Switch Talk Shows For April Fool's Day Joke

Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel pulled one over on their audiences tonight!

The late night talk show hosts actually switched places for Friday night’s episode, which aired on April Fool’s Day.

Fallon was a surprise host on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in California, and Kimmel was on The Tonight Show in New York City.

According to Variety, studio audiences attending each broadcast were not informed of the move ahead of time, leaving them just as surprised as the TV viewers who tuned in Friday night.

In addition to the host switch, The Red Hot Chili Peppers served as musical guests for both programs.

Fallon even made fun of the switch with a Spider-Man like meme on Twitter.
