'The Resident' Season 6 Premiere Date? Everything We Know So Far

The Resident is one of Fox’s leading TV shows.

The medical drama first premiered back in January of 2018, and is based on the book Unaccountable by Marty Makary, following the lives of the staff at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital, as well as examining the hospital industry at large.

Season 5 of the Fox series debuted back in September of 2021, and took a winter hiatus, which was later extended due to scheduling changes caused by the pandemic. It finally returned in February of 2022.

On Tuesday (April 25), Fox just announced that the fifth season will officially end on May 17, 2022. As a result, many fans are left wondering what’s to come of their show.

Right now, Fox has not made any announcements regarding a renewal or cancellation.

In May of 2021, the series was renewed for a fifth season, which premiered on September 21, 2021. So it’s very possible that the announcement is just around the corner! We’ll be updating as soon as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, Fox has confirmed that all of these shows are getting renewed for another season.
