Camila Cabello Confirms 'Psychofreak' Lyrics Are About Fifth Harmony's Breakup

Camila Cabello is confirming what fans are thinking – the lyrics to her new song “Psychofreak” from her new album, Familia, is about Fifth Harmony.

The 25-year-old singer confirmed the theory in a new interview with Reuters ahead of her album drop.

The lyrics to the track refer to Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane and not only that, but also address the struggles she has faced since the girl group’s formation on The X Factor ten years ago.

“That song is basically about anxiety and all of the different things that have made up, like, my journey with anxiety and starting off really young in the industry,” she explained.

Camila also revealed that she has been in contact with the girls, and while it’s on occasion, their communications are positive.

“We have been, like, supportive of each other through, like, DMs and stuff,” she added. “I’m, like, in a really good place with them.”
