Jessica Simpson Reveals Daughter Maxwell is 'Best Friends' with Kim Kardashian's Daughter North!

In a new interview, Jessica Simpson revealed that her 9-year-old daughter Maxwell is very good friends with Kim Kardashian‘s 8-year-old daughter North.

“One of Maxwell’s best friends is North,” Jessica, 41, shared with Us Weekly. “She is amazing. She is a great kid, and she will be a part of a change in this world.”

Jessica then went on to share that her husband Eric Johnson “just recently” coached their daughter and North‘s basketball team.

She also gushed that it’s “fun” living in the same neighborhood as Kim, 41, North, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, whom the reality star shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

“That [proximity] makes it easy,” Jessica added.

Along with Maxwell, Jessica and Eric are also parents to son Ace, 8, and daughter Birdie, 3.

Also in the interview, Jessica noted that Kim and her kids have stayed “the same” while growing up on reality TV.

“I’m like, ‘I don’t know how y’all could do this all the time,’” Jessica explained. “I could only last three seasons [on Newlyweds], but they’re so open and they’ve always remained the same…That’s really hard to do, and they’re powerhouses.”

If you didn’t know, Jessica and ex-husband Nick Lachey starred on MTV’s reality show Newlyweds from 2003 to 2005.

They were married from 2002 until 2006. Kim briefly dated Nick after his divorce!
