Here's How 'Moon Knight' Honored Late Actor Gaspard Ulliel

Moon Knight is paying tribute to Gaspard Ulliel.

The late French actor, who passed away at the age of 37 in January following a tragic skiing accident, made his first appearance in the Marvel series in episode three.

As the episode’s end credits rolled, a title card read: “In Memory of Gaspard Ulliel.”

Gaspard‘s role in Moon Knight marks his final television appearance. He’s set to appear in three more episodes of the series.

In the show, the actor plays Mogart, an art collector who’s good friends with Layla El-Faouly (May Calamawy). In episode three, he was seen arriving shirtless for a meeting with Layla and Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac), that devolves into a scuffle.

Gaspard‘s final acting role is the forthcoming French film More Than Ever, which will be released later this year and co-stars Vicky Krieps.

New episodes of Moon Knight premiere on Wednesdays on Disney+.
