A$AP Rocky Arrested at LAX Airport, Details Emerge Concerning the Reason Why

A$AP Rocky was arrested this morning (April 20) at LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was detained as he came off of a private airplane from Barbados where he had been staying with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna.

According to NBC News, A$AP was arrested “in connection to a November 2021 shooting.”

According to the report, he was reportedly under investigation for a shooting that took place on Vista Del Mar and Selma last year.

The victim of the shooting survived and according to a police report, claimed that A$AP and two others approached him on the street and “shot at him three to four times and believed one of the bullets grazed his left hand.”

The arrest was made by the LAPD, who received help at the airport from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team.

Rihanna‘s due date is reportedly coming up soon as she recently revealed she’s in her third trimester.

It has been a tumultuous few weeks for the couple after they were the subject of some false rumors.
