“We’ll go all night / Two-steppin’ with the woman I love / All my troubles turn to nothin’ when I’m in your eyes, electrified,” Ed sings on the track. “We’ll keep turnin’ up and go all night / Oh, we had dips and falls in our time / But we know what it feels to be low, then up, alone, then loved / And all we need is us to go all.”

In a press release, Ed revealed that he filmed the music video in Kyiv, Ukraine before the Russian invasion.

“I filmed the video for ’2step’ in the city of Kyiv, Ukraine before the devastating acts of violence started to take place,” Ed shared. “It was my first time visiting the country and I felt so welcomed during my stay there – everyone from the production crew to the many people I met across my days off.”

He added, “Ukraine is a proud and resilient country and I’m grateful to have had the chance to film my video there. I stand with Ukraine and will be donating my record royalties from YouTube streams of the video to the DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal x”

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Ed is filming a tribute to a late friend.
