Jesse exited Grey’s Anatomy last year after twelve seasons on the show.

His character Jackson’s sendoff happened in the May 6 episode, “Look Up Child,” in which Sarah returned as April Kepner to see him off, reuniting one of the show’s most popular couples. It was revealed that both characters would be moving to Boston, setting the stage for a possible spinoff. This marks Sarah‘s first appearance on the show since that episode.

According to the outlet, this new episode will provide an update about how Jackson and April are doing a year later.

Jesse is set to make his Broadway debut soon and one of his former Grey’s Anatomy castmates shared why she’s “nervous” about it.
