The 40-year-old retired NBA player made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for an interview airing on Monday (April 25).

In his interview, Dwyane addressed the possibility of coming out of retirement and returning to play in the NBA.

“Absolutely not,” Dwyane responded when Ellen asked if would play pro basketball again.

“I feel better when I wake up in the morning, my knees not hurting, my hips not hurting. I’m not stressing as much. It’s stressful tryna be good all the time,” Dwyane explained. “I’m 40, I ain’t the same.”

Dwyane officially retired from the NBA in 2019 after a 16-year career.
