Emma Hernan Clarifies Timeline of Ben Affleck Match on Raya

Emma Hernan is clarifying the timeline of her interaction with Ben Affleck on the dating app Raya amid his denial of being an active user on the app.

In the fifth season of Selling Sunset, Emma made the claim that she matched with Ben on the dating app and that he tried to get her to go on a date with him.

Ben‘s rep released a statement denying that he’s an active user on the app amid people questioning when the match could have happened, seeing as he’s now engaged again to Jennifer Lopez.

The fifth season of Selling Sunset was filmed in summer 2021, but Emma has confirmed that the match happened years earlier.

“It was not recent. This was 2019,” Emma said in a new interview with E! News. “Literally, the smallest, innocent little thing, and it was taken and blew up out of proportion.”

“I think on the show, you didn’t see the time frame and it just seemed worse, and it was literally the smallest thing,” she added. “End of story. We’re shutting that one down, now.”
