Katy Perry had a hilarious reaction during the latest American Idol episode when a contestant tried to connect her to John Mayer.

During the Top 11 performance episode, the contestants had to choose between three songs that were selected by the three judges, though they didn’t know which judge selected each song.

Noah Thompson picked the song “Heartbreak Warfare” by John Mayer and when he was asked to guess the judge that selected the song, he picked Katy.

“Noah, I feel like maybe you should Wikipedia me,” Katy said in response, adding “I’m triggered!” She then slid onto the floor in embarrassment!

After it was revealed that Luke Bryan selected the song, Katy said, “Who is going to pay for my extra hour of therapy?” While judging the performance, Katy noted that John is “a great artist” and said that Noah did a great job on the song.

Katy and John first started dating in 2012 and they had an on-off relationship that ultimately ended for good in February 2014.
