Matthew Broderick Says It Was 'Love at First Sight' For Him With Sarah Jessica Parker

Matthew Broderick is opening up about his romance with wife Sarah Jessica Parker.

The 60-year-old actor, who is starring in Plaza Suite with Sarah at the moment, opened up in a new interview about how he knew she was the one for him.

Matthew appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen recently, and revealed that it was like love at first sight for him.

“Oh, the first time I met her,” he said about knowing instantly she was the one for him. “I saw her walking down the street and thought ‘That’s it.’”

Matthew added that Sarah‘s “humor and wisdom” were two qualities that he admired the most, though he also complimented her gift-giving ability.

He revealed that one time she had surprised him with a “trip one time — a surprise, blindfolded, suddenly I was in the Caribbean.”

Matthew and Sarah married in 1997 and have three children together, James Wilkie, 19, and twin daughters, Tabitha and Marion, 12.
