'The Batman' Has Huge First Week Numbers For HBO Max; Besting 'The Suicide Squad' & 'Dune'!

HBO Max has revealed that The Batman is proving to be a major hit on the streamer.

The new movie, which stars Robert Pattinson in the title role, hit the streaming network 45 days after the flick first hit theaters, and the numbers are huge!

According to Deadline, The Batman was watched in 4.1 million households in just the first week alone.

This number beats The Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman 1984, The Matrix Resurrections and Dune, all of which were released the same day on the streamer as they were in theaters.

The outlet also shared that The Batman‘s first week is the second best for a theatrical movie on HBO Max after Mortal Kombat.

In theaters, The Batman earned $750 worldwide and $365M in domestic theaters, since it’s release on March 4.

The Batman also stars Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell.
