In videos released on Monday (April 25), police and medics are seen arriving to the scene, while bodycam footage shows first responders battling to save Halyna‘s life.

In other clips, Alec is seen in costume as a cowboy practicing with a gun, which appears to be the one that killed Halyna.

Sheriff Mendoza said the investigation into the shooting “remains open and ongoing,” with firearms forensics, fingerprint analysis, a report from the medical examiner and analysis of Alec‘s phone data still pending.

“Once these investigative components are provided to the sheriff’s office we will be able to complete the investigation to forward it to the Santa Fe District Attorney for review,” he said.

A spokesperson told the New York Times that authorities decided to release the files after multiple requests from the media, and because investigators wanted to show what information was still needed before the case could be passed on to prosecutors.

Here is what Alec Baldwin just recently said about his role in the investigation.
