Fashionista Fredrik Robertsson Is Misidentified as Jared Leto at Met Gala 2022

Originally, fans and photographers thought this was Jared Leto‘s 2022 Met Gala look at the annual event, on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

However, it was later revealed to actually be fashionista Fredrik Robertsson. He actually posted photos of himself getting ready ahead of the event (to prove it’s him!)

The dress code for the event is “Gilded Glamour” and it’s inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Guests are asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890. The official co-chairs this year are Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
