Nicki Minaj Pairs Leather Hat with Ruffled Dress at Met Gala 2022

Nicki Minaj is slaying the red carpet!

The 39-year-old “Super Bass” rapper attended the 2022 Met Gala with Burberry designer Riccardo Tisci on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

For the event, Nicki was covered with black spots all over her face, arms, and chest while she wore a black leather hat paired with a black ruffled dress and leather pants.

The dress code for the event is “Gilded Glamour” and it’s inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Guests are asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890. The official co-chairs this year are Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
