OlderSabrina Carpenter Glitters in a Gold Gown at the Met Gala 2022
Sabrina Carpenter is bringing the Gilded Glamour!
The 22-year-old performer hit the red carpet for the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Sabrina stunned in a gold sequin gown that featured a dramatic train. This marks her first ever Met Gala appearance.
The dress code for the event is “Gilded Glamour” and it’s inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Guests are asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890. The official co-chairs this year are Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
