Amber Heard's Attorney Tries to Get Judge to Dismiss Johnny Depp Trial, Judge Refuses as Amber Set to Take Stand Tomorrow

The Johnny Depp defamation trial against his ex wife Amber Heard reached the halfway point today (May 3) when Johnny‘s legal council presented their final witness.

At this point in the trial, Amber‘s lawyers requested the judge officially dismiss the case as they claimed Johnny‘s lawyers failed to present enough evidence to prove their side.

The judge, Judge Penney Azcarate, denied this motion.

Johnny‘s lawyers are arguing that he lost millions of dollars and his role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise after Amber published her Washington Post op-ed, reaffirming her domestic violence allegations against her ex.

This week, Johnny‘s lawyers revealed how much money he was set to make for Pirates 6, as well as his high salary for several other hit movies.
