'General Hospital' Alum Steve Burton Splits From Pregnant Wife Sheree Gustin, Says 'The Child Is Not Mine'

Steve Burton has announced he has separated from wife Sheree Gustin after 23 years of marriage.

Shortly after Sheree announced that she is pregnant, the 51-year-old actor, who formerly played Jason Morgan on General Hospital, revealed that that the two have separated and that he is not the father of her unborn child.

“I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated,” Steve wrote on his Instagram Story on Wednesday (May 4).

“She recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine,” Steve continued. “We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve.”

Steve and Sheree married in 1999 and share three children – daughter Makena, 18, son Jack, 16, and daughter Brooklyn, 7.

Back in November 2021, Steve announced he was leaving General Hospital over the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
