There's an Update on That 'Modern Family' Mitch & Cam Spinoff

After Modern Family wrapped in 2020, there were rumors of a possible spinoff show featuring Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet), and their new life in Missouri.

During his appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, Jesse was asked if it was moving forward.

“There were discussions,” Jesse said when asked. “I think the network decided against it.”

He then added, “That’s the first time I ever said that!”

When the series ended last year, fans saw the two sell their brand new house and move across country as Mitch accepted a new position as head coach of a football team at a university. Here’s what Jesse said about the possibility of a spinoff show at the time.
