Rachel Shukert, who’s known for her work on the Baby-Sitters Club reboot at Netflix, will adapt the musical and serve as its showrunner.
The project is the result of a deal between Skydance Television, Concord Originals and Jennifer’s Nuyorican Productions. It was announced that the “Let’s Get Loud” superstar had teamed up with both companies back in July 2021, with a goal of developing original content based on Concord’s catalog of musicals.
It was also reported at the time that Jennifer will have the option to star in at least one of the adaptations.
Earlier this month, Jennifer was spotted looking at real estate with her boyfriend Ben Affleck. Check out the photos here!
