Actress Ellen Barkin dated Johnny Depp in the 1990s. She might be testifying via a video link.

During his libel lawsuit against Britain’s The Sun in 2020, she wrote in a statement that he had once thrown a bottle of wine across a room once and was jealous.

“Untrue,” Johnny apparently replied at the time. “She wanted a proper relationship with me and I did not want that. I didn’t feel the same about her as she did me and I suppose from that moment on she became very, very angry and since then I have not spoken to Ms. Barkin.”
